Welcome to Your Turning Point, Inc. (“we,” “our,” or “the Organization”). By accessing this website or participating in any of our programs operated in partnership with The Foundry Gym, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, which include our Privacy Policy, Liability Waiver, and Participant Eligibility Guidelines.

1. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. We collect and store only the personal information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, contact details, or donation history. This data is used strictly for communication, donor relations, and program participation purposes.

2. Program Participation & Admission Policy

Your Turning Point, Inc. is committed to mentoring and supporting at-risk youth, but participation in our programs is not guaranteed to every applicant.

• Admission decisions are made at the sole discretion of the Organization’s leadership based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to: space availability, participant behavior history, safety, and the alignment of the applicant’s needs with our mission.
• We reserve the right to deny, suspend, or revoke access to any individual without explanation, especially in cases involving safety concerns or disruptive behavior.
• Acceptance into our programs is not a right, but a privilege extended by invitation.
  

3. Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk

By participating in any program, training, event, or mentorship session offered by Your Turning Point, Inc. and/or hosted at The Foundry Gym, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• You understand that physical activities—including boxing, martial arts, and fitness training—involve inherent risks of injury, including serious bodily harm, illness, or even death.
• You voluntarily assume all risks associated with your or your child’s participation.
• You release and hold harmless Your Turning Point, Inc., The Foundry Gym, their owners, board members, coaches, volunteers, mentors, employees, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever for injuries, property damage, or losses that may result from participation in our programs.

4. Medical & Emergency Policy

• Participants are responsible for disclosing any relevant medical conditions prior to joining.
• In the event of an emergency, Your Turning Point, Inc. staff may contact emergency services and act in good faith in accordance with perceived best interests of the participant.
• The Organization is not liable for any outcomes arising from emergency medical treatment or transportation.

5. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to:

• Treat staff, volunteers, coaches, mentors, and fellow participants with respect.
• Avoid violence, threats, discrimination, or illegal activity.
• Follow all safety protocols and instructions provided by staff and coaches.

Violation of these expectations may result in immediate removal from the program without refund (if applicable).

6. Donations, Refunds, and Tax Status

• All donations made to Your Turning Point, Inc. are final and non-refundable.
• We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions may be tax-deductible; consult your tax advisor.
• Donors will receive an annual statement of giving upon request or automatically for recurring gifts.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including logos, program names, videos, testimonials, and curriculum materials, is the property of Your Turning Point, Inc. and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

8. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the site or participation in programs after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any disputes arising from the use of this site or participation in our programs shall be handled through binding arbitration in Beaufort County, SC, and not through litigation.
